MT SERIES
MTCSC: Climb Safe Clinic
DURATION: 8 Hours
OBJECTIVES: Increase knowledge of fundamental climbing procedures,
safety considerations, knot tying, belaying and rappelling
CUSTOMER: Adventurists, Climbing enthusiasts of all levels,
MIL/LE with no significant previous climbing
experience
CLASS SIZE: 8 - 20
PREREQUISITES: None
PHYSICAL
REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to physically participate in strenuous climbing
activities. ATG MED WAIVER REQUIRED.
MATERIALS: Comfortable/climbing clothing, boots/climbing boots, personal
preferred climbing gear

MTR/SR-1 Rescue/Self Rescue Intro Course
DURATION: Two Days
OBJECTIVES: Enhance climbing skills to provide ability to assist distressed
climbers or to get yourself out of trouble: clearing jammed
devices, belay take-overs, "pick offs", belay escapes, etc.
CUSTOMER: Adventurists, Climbing enthusiasts of all levels, MIL/LE
CLASS SIZE: 8 - 16
PREREQUISITES: MTCSC, must have solid understanding of knots and
belay techniques. Must be able to comfortably follow YDS
5.6 crack and face climbs by course start date.
PHYSICAL
REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to physically participate in strenuous climbing
activities. ATG MED WAIVER REQUIRED.
MATERIALS: Comfortable/climbing clothing, boots/climbing boots, personal
preferred climbing gear

MTR/SR-2: Rescue/Self Rescue - Intermediate
DURATION: Two Days
OBJECTIVES: Enhance skills in pre-trip planning, belaying, releasing, and
lowering seconds with autoblock devices, tandem and simul
rappels for rescue, injured second/leader rescue
CUSTOMER: Intermediate Level Climbers, MIL/LE, personnel involved in
high angle operations
CLASS SIZE: 4 - 8
PREREQUISITES: MTR/SR-1 or AMGA SPI. Must be able to comfortably lead
traditionally protected YDS 5.8 crack and face climbs
PHYSICAL
REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to physically participate in strenuous climbing
activities. ATG MED WAIVER REQUIRED.
MATERIALS: Comfortable/climbing clothing, boots/climbing boots, personal
preferred climbing gear

MTR/SR-3: Rescue/Self Rescue - Advanced
DURATION: Tailored to group requirements
OBJECTIVES: Intensively expands on MTR/SR-1 and MTR/SR-2 skills and
applies them during complex rescue scenarios in a demanding
CUSTOMER: Intermediate/Advanced Level Climbers, MIL/LE personnel
CLASS SIZE: Scalable
PREREQUISITES: Completed MTR/SR-2 with a favorable instructor rating, completed
WFA certification, current BLS/CPR certification. Must be able to
comfortably lead multi-pitch YDS 5.8 crack and face climbs.
*MIL/LE Medics may be exempted from the WFA, BLS/CPR...
